Chernabog was animated by Bill Tytla, a titan of Disney's first films, and Tytla makes Chernabog unforgettable, striking a perfect balance of looking like he's carved into a mountain and therefore largely immobile but giving the illusion that he could break out at any moment to destroy the world. Not even Monstro the whale can compete with Chernabog, who's quite literally the size of a mountain. His size is every bit as awe-inspiring, and in terms of sheer scale, he's undoubtedly the biggest villain. With the mere wave of his hand, he's able to summon the spirits of the dead to do his bidding. Thats all I know for now and we will see if he respawns. His power is immense. Unlike the hag fight you can destroy his pyre while no one is burning but I do not know if you get anything out of this or if he will buff himself to stop you. He will then try to brand your heroes with his staff and heavily damage them with his hammer. He will also use his book to inflict moderate damage and horror to all of your heroes in the party. However if he does send your hero to the pyre he will buff himself with 25% prot. One of those actions will be to try and burn your hero which is a mechanic very similar to the hag. The Fanatic has 3 actions per turn so be careful. At some point during your quest he will appear out of nowhere and like the Shambler both the environment will change and all of your heroes will be surprised. If the Fanatic is hunting you during the loading screen beofre you are taken to the front of the dungeon the fanatics face will appear and the narrator will warn you about him and tell you to kill him. For those of you who want to do this fight blind PLEASE STOP READING THIS NOW as I will try to go into detail about this fight. Alright so recently I just fought and killed the Fanatic.
